(New York, NY) The French Gypsy Phenomenon is back at it again! Perfecting their trademark “Electroswing”, Caravan Palace returns with their sophomore album “Panic”. Bonding over their love of electronic music, Charles Delaporte, Arnaud Vial and Hugues Payen came together after working for a film production company to provide a soundtrack to silent pornographic films. After Music Producer Loic Barrouk took interest in the band, DJ Antoine Toustou and lead vocalist Colotis Zoe were brought in, paving the way for their first appearance at the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival in 2007 and a contract with Wagram Music record label shortly after.

Ladyhawke will be making a very welcome return to venues across Australia and New Zealand in July to perform her hits including 'My Delirium', 'Paris Is Burning' and 'Back Of The Van', from her ARIA Award winning self-titled debut album. She'll also be debuting tunes from her forthcoming album 'Anxiety' which will be released on May 25 (AUS), May 28 (UK/EU), May 29 (USA).

Brooklyn-based SKATERS, by way of Los Angeles, have been taking their newfound home by storm packing venues from the Lower East Side to deep Bushwick, Brooklyn and dropping their debutSCHEMERS EP online for free. It's with great pleasure they bring fans their debut video for the EP's title track. Kelsey Bennett, Rémy Bennett, and Monroe Robertson shot and directed the video aiming to create a visual aesthetic comparable to that of a 1980's acid trip.
In order to accomplish this feel, Kelsey Bennett also SKATERS photographer and art director, recruited friend and artist B. Thom Stevenson. Stevenson, who also does visuals for Marc Jacobs, created animation and paintings in motion used as backdrops to set the scene for a teenage boy's cerebral stream of fragmented memories and fantasy. With Oedipal undertones the boy turns his mother into the 50 foot woman and the innocent objects of his affection violent.
SKATERS emerged onto the Lower Manhattan scene in the beginning of 2012, playing their brand of eclectic and dynamic punk music to consistently packed venues and parties. Their Debut EP, Schemers, is inspired by NYC music and art from all decades. The band consists of Michael Ian Cummings, Josh Hubbard and Noah Rubin, but also includes artists Kelsey Bennett and Brian Stevenson as permanent contributing members of the team. They expect to release another EP, more videos, and published art by fall, 2012.
Breaking Bad final season to be split in two (i dont give a fuck bring it)
Last time we heard from Walter White, he revealed (unofficially) that the final season of AMC's critically adored meth-od acting drama, Breaking Bad, would be returning in July. The news came amid speculation as to how the final sixteen episodes would be delivered: either in one shipment of face-melting goodness, or split over two painstakingly suspenseful mini-series.
Now we have something of an answer to television's most pressing question, with Emmy-award winner Bryan Cranston revealing that "We’re splitting it. We’re going to shoot the first eight, then take a four-month production break, then the rest will air next year.”
Cranston is also set to direct the ninth episode of Breaking Bad‘s final season, which will also - take it away, Walt - "pick up right where we left off. We’re cleaning up the pieces from last season’s huge ordeal where Gus Fring was forced to meet his maker. It’s not as easy as Walter thought. And as we’ve discovered over the years, you don’t really know who Walter White is. I’m still discovering who he is and I’m trying to allow myself to be open to him going darker and darker. There’s physical danger to himself and his family, plus there’s the emotional danger due to his anger and hubris. It’s about the evil that men do and where that takes him.”
According to Ricky Gervais, there's nothing offensive about his latest cringe-worthy creation, Derek, an upcoming black comedy/drama about elderly care-worker Derek Noakes and his colleagues Dougie and Hannah.
A series of short teaser trailers have provoked criticisms that Gervais set out to mock the disabled with the obviously affected characterisation of the titular character. His recent Twitter faux-pas surrounding his supposed mocking of the disabled certainly doesn't help. However, speaking with The Independent, Gervais said that, "I've never thought of him as disabled. He's not that bright but he's cleverer than Baldrick (from Blackadder), he's clever than Father Dougal (a character in Father Ted)... he hasn't got as big a problem as Mr Bean. [ed: What was up with Mr. Bean by the way?]

In an interview with The Guardian, prolific musician Damon Albarn has pretty much, kinda, maybe sealed the fate of his two most successful bands, 90s Britpop stalwarts Blur and cartoon pop collaboration with Jamie Hewlitt, Gorillaz.
Of Blur's future, Albarn revealed that he could no longer collaborate with drummer Dave Rowntree and bassist Alex James, saying: "it's harder for them to reconnect. You know what I mean? It's fine when we play live – it's really magical still – but actually recording new stuff, and swapping musical influences… it's quite difficult."
When prompted about the prospect of any future Blur records, or the likelihood of playing after the Olympic Closing Ceremony in Hyde Park, Albarn responds:
"No, I don't think so. No, not really. And I hope that's the truth: that that's how we end it. I don't know: you can write scripts, and they always end up going… [pause]… well, one thing I've learned, and I'm sure you're exactly the same, is that everything I think I've got totally sorted out, and I know exactly what's going to happen – it never works out that way…"
"In all likelihood, I would say. [pause] Oh, God…" which kind of says it all really. 'Oh God...'
When quizzed on the possibility that we can expect more Gorillaz music, Albarn gives another nonplussed answer in "Er… unlikely," his uncertainty stemming from a feud between the two following on from the duo's last record Plastic Beach, on which Albarn felt "The music and the videos weren't working as well together... It's a shame."

SILVER CITY Compuesto por Julian Sanza y Fernando Pulichino comenzaron su carrera en 1999 en Mar del Plata con el proyecto electronico Ciudad Feliz. En el 2002 se mudan a Londres, envian un demo al sello ingles 2020 Vision, son firmados y es así como nace Silver City. Su primer lanzamiento se llamo “ 1969” , definiría al sonido de Silver City, bajos y sintetizadores en vivo, ritmos entre house y disco. Luego llegaron “Elastic” , “Say Hi” , “Blah Blah Blah” y "Shiver" de gran repercusion , donde los EPs evolucionaron cada vez mas , empezando a escucharse voces y guitarras. En 2004 integran 2020 Soundsystem (junto a Ralph Lawson y Danny Ward) el principal proyecto en vivo del sello. En julio del 2005 presentan su album debut “Silver City” , el LP de 11 pistas incluye canciones e instrumentales, además de mezclar funk con house y electrónica, denota una clara influencia del sonido "Manchester", ciudad donde fue producido y mezclado. Este disco fue tambien editado en Argentina por el sello Secsy Music. Luego comisionan remixes de legendarios artistas como Lindstrom, Spirit Catcher, Prins Thomas, se destaca “Shiver” remixado por Ewan Pearson que se convierte en el 2005 en el himno de la terraza de Space en Ibiza... Desde entonces, 2 albumes albumes mas , esta vez con 2020 Soundsystem, vieron la luz: el debut “No Order” (2006) y “Falling” (2009), con sus remixes entre ellos “Sliding Away” por Jhonny D, que alcanza el numero uno de singles favoritos de todos los tiempos en el website Resident Advisor, y se estaciona por varias semanas en el Top 10 general de Beatport.
ARCADE: Federico Ferrer (a.k.a. Arcade) es, desde sus jóvenes días, un experto en crear sonidos de los mas pesados y crujientes que el hemisferio sur haya jamas escuchado. Ha coqueteado con gran variedad de ritmos tales como el Drum & Bass, Garage y Uk Funky, pasando por la Cumbia Villera y obviamente sin dejar de lado el House, el cual es su foco actual. El particular estilo de Arcade, infectado con rítmicas Latinoaméricanas, esta teniendo un gran momento en la escena electrónica mundial. Lo-Fi-Fnk are Swedish electro-poppers Leonard Drougge and August Hellsing. They've been making music since 2001 and, as of now, this includes the 109th iteration of the Modcast.
Last year they released their second album, 'The Last Summer' and have in this mix included an extra-special bonus with the premier of the Krusha remix of their upcoming single 'Kissing Taste'. Keep your ears open for this one.

Undertones Gang Records presents the first collaboration work of the well known Berlin-based BEN MONO (active member of labels like Gomma, Compost, Permanent Vacation or Boys Noize) and IDIOTRONIC, former member of the Argentine techno act KRMPCK. After a couple months of working at distance and after touring and rocking together through Argentina in 2011, they gave birth to this first series of tracks, and this material is so good we are already eager to listen to their following release! H.O.T (Hold On Tight) and 1992 are two solid techno tracks with a “dandy” vibe: Groovy, somewhat dark, but sensual and trippy, with BEN MONO in charge of vocals that contribute in the design of a housy atmosphere.
