The internet has been duped before but for your first taste of all new, 100% legitimate Daft Punk material simply click on the track links below. The six appropriately ominous/cinematic clips come from Disney's long-awaited sequel to Tron, Tron: Legacy which hits cinemas December 17 (new trailer here).

Seeing as the tracks came straight from the official Tron: Legacy website there's little chance of another fake out but as the saying goes: Fool me once...shame on...shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again. You can't get fooled again internet! You can't get fooled again!

JAMAICA's new video featuring Sepultura’s Igor Cavalera + North American Tour Dates‏

JAMAICA - 'Short and Entertaining' VIDEO from bermudapants on Vimeo.

With the release of their highly anticipated debut album No Problem on the horizon, Jamaica, the French duo formerly known as Poney Poney have announced their next single. ‘Short & Entertaining’ will be released on August 16th through Co-op Music.

Packed with stop-start metallic guitars and fuzzy indie-pop melodies, ‘Short & Entertaining’ is a three minute gem. The video is directed by Jeremie Rozan & Martial Schmetz – from Surface2Air - (Justice vs. Simian, The Streets) and features Igor Cavalera, the drummer and founding member of the Brazilian Thrash metal band Sepultura.

‘No Problem’ was produced in Paris by Grammy Award winners Xavier de Rosnay (Justice) and Peter Franco. Contrary to what people might expect, there isn’t a synth in sight. In fact, the only rule when recording the album was “No synthesizers would be involved!

Based in Paris, Jamaica are Antoine Hilaire & Flo Lyonnet. Antoine’s inspirations range from Michael Jackson and The Beatles to 60s girl groups and Nirvana, whilst Flo is the electro head but holds a special place in his heart for the likes of Pantera and Rage Against The Machine.

This wide spectrum of influences gives Jamaica its distinct sound: sleek pop hooks and rock undertones alongside super tight electronic production. The album’s yacht rock sound – resplendent with guitar solos reminiscent of Daft Punk’s ‘Discovery’ - arrives just at the right time for summer.

Jamaica who play with a live drummer, opened the NME Radar Stage at The Great Escape earlier this year and are currently supporting Two Door Cinema Club on their French tour.

BEAT ASSASSINS free track + Mixtape + New release ! ! !

Beat Assassins’ Urban Electro Project has achieved massive crossover appeal and gained support from Groove Armada to the Stanton Warriors, NAPT to Plumps DJs. Now it’s now time to throw down part 4.

‘Straight to the World’ is the most epic of the UEP series and a fantastic way to complete the project. Beat Assassins have deliver a big room sound by building immense riffs and dynamic synth patches over phat breaks that superbly compliments the female dancehall vocal. The mid dropout unfolds with mammoth proportions resulting in a colossal build up that slams in power chords and huge synth leads. Beat Assassins utilise the vocal once more and then let the music do the talking.

Flip for the uber hot electro & breaks man of the moment Peo De Pitte who drops a massive electro house remix. This track is quite a ride. Peo immediately sets the pace working the big room synth patches into the initial dropout. Rolling beats then unfold sliced with intermediate dynamic stabs. In the mid section Peo works the electro riffs while building the risers and lands a monstrous thought provoking interpretation of the original straight at the dancefloor jugular. An essential mix for any house and electro spinner.

Klaxons Announce 'Down Under The Void' Oz Tour‏

Klaxons have well and truly announced their return, and come September fans from the Antipodean shores will experience their storming new live show in full force at the 'Down Under The Void' Tour.

With Surfing The Void, their majestic 2nd record, still smoking from the press, Klaxons will be back with a clutch of new material to further bolster their already blindsiding live act playing two shows only in Sydney on September 2 and in Melbourne on September 3.

It's been 3 years since Klaxons burst onto the music scene, injecting a dazzling and much needed moment of rave hedonism into the midst of indie tedium with the truly original and enormously influential Mercury award-winning album, Myths Of The Near Future.

2010 marks their return with the eagerly awaited second album, revitalised, reinvented and with US production maverick Ross Robinson (Sepultura, At the Drive In, The Cure) at the helm. What's emerged out the other side is a brilliantly diverse and engaging alternative rock record, mashing the best bits of Blur, Muse & The KLF, yet still making a record that sounds uniquely, fabulously, Klaxons.

So not a moment too soon, Klaxons will be back on Australian soil to remind all and sundry why their vision of the future is one worth seeing.

Stand by for the transmission of the life affirming video for the hugely expansive new single 'Echoes', shot in the Egyptian white desert with long-time creative collaborator / director, Saam.

Tickets for these two exclusive shows go on-sale Thursday July 29, and as a special offer to live show fans the new album, Surfing The Void due August 20, will be available to pre-order in digital or physical format with each to ticket to the upcoming shows.

Savoir Adore: The Cave of Good Secrets

Even in a scene as vibrant as Brooklyn's, Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro - the principal members of Savoir Adore - bring something entirely unique and exciting to the table with their lush, leftfield slant on pop. After releasing their limited edition debut UK single 'Bodies' earlier this year (receiving support from Radio 1 and NME Radio, plus featured on Myspace), Savoir Adore are pleased to announce their debut album 'In the Wooded Forest' will be released through Cantora Records (the New York label who helped launch MGMT, Violens and Bear Hands) and their next single 'We Talk Like Machines'.

There’s a lot going on in Cut Copy’s World. They have finished the recording of their new, as-yet-untitled, 3rd Album (due in early 2010), which they will mix with Ben Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective) in Atlanta in August.

But before they do that, they have embarked on a world tour to play some new tunes and old favorites to festival-goers and clubbers alike.

In celebration of all this, the band have made a brand new song, “Where I’m Going,” available for the price of an email address. Go to their website (www.cutcopy.net), click the “Download A New Cut Copy Song” link, and you’re away. If you want it on vinyl, it will be released as a strictly limited, one-sided etched 7” in August.

The tribal pound of “Where I’m Going,” described by the band as “the kind of track Brian Wilson would've written if he took ecstasy and hung out in 60's London instead of California,” will fit perfectly in either a large field or a dark club, and the guys are looking forward to sharing a good old chant with all of you.

Nike SB Dunk Street Fighter Pack Ryu + Chun Li

Before camp-outs for sneaker releases, long lines used to form by the Street Fighter II arcade machine; quarters ready, thumbs nimble, button-smashing not allowed. For those of you jaded by the next-generation gaming of today, Street Fighter II was available only on coin-operated arcade machines and didn’t release on home-consoles until years after its release (Sega Genesis had to make a special 6-button controller to fit SF’s needs). Before tag-team action and air combos, Street Fighter II was a simple, eight-character, one vs. one fighting game that revolutionized the fighting game genre; just like the Nike Dunk is, Street Fighter was long imitated, never replicated. So this Street Fighter x Nike SB Dunk collaboration might seem a bit out of left field, but it’s a definite treat for fans of the Dunk and the game.

The first two Quickstrikes pairs to surface just so happen to be inspired by the two most recognizable characters in video game history – Ryu and Chun Li. The Ryu x Nike SB Dunk Mid features a white, red, and black colorway to match his ‘ki’, with a tattered material on the swoosh to match his headband. The Chun Li x Nike SB Dunk Low features a blue upper with gold contrast stitching and a white swoosh. This could be just a start of a large collection, because we know there are a ton of Street Fighter characters to select. Check out the extra shots after the jump and let us know: is the Street Fighter x Nike SB Dunk Pack a weak jab or a Haa-dooo-kennn? via N-SB.

A-Team remixed by MSTRKFT , Dan the Automator + more + making of´s!

Toronto’s finest need no introduction creating the classic theme into a French tinged electro house floorfiller. MSTRKRFT are widely compared with bands such as Justice and Daft Punk from the other side of the Atlantic. No smooth talking is needed to turn this into one of the summers club anthems.

Rye Rye is very much part of the MIA crew and the Baltimore rapper is signed to MIA’s N.E.E.T. Records and is featured on several of MIA’s records, including MIA’s ‘Paper Planes’ release. The Remix is almost a complete reworking of the theme as Rye Rye raps over a loop of the theme with masses of attitude and angst. Her mix always had to be the ‘ Bad Attitude’ B.A. mix

B.A. Mix - Rye Rye Featuring Nguzunguzu, presented by M.I.A's Neet Recordings by nathantayloronline

Dan the Automator has produced records for the Gorillaz and Kasabian amongst many others. This is a cool dub / trip hop cut of the original A Team Theme put together by one of music’s underground leaders, just like Hannibal!

Hannibal Mix - Dan The Automator by nathantayloronline

Just Blaze is the producer responsible for the recent Jay-Z, Kanye West and Eminem albums and delivers a version of the theme that’s heavy on street credibility. Not as insane as Murdock, but still delivers all the punches.

I think some people say "Here comes the Dirty Noise with one of those mixtapes",
but the question is, do these mixtapes not only as a demonstration of my work live,
but as a way to share so many amazing tracks that come to me.
So much so that when the show tracklists,
as if I said "i could not play in my djset, but is here for you... is great".

Normally I always try to show what's youngest latest releases,
but this mixtape as well as some current hits of electro,
has also others who were launched about two years,
and even some monsters of electronic music, as Dave Clarke (god of techno)
and Richie Hawtin (yes, i maximize the father of minimal).

This mixtape is dedicated to my friends from Paraná (Entre Rios) and Buenos Aires (Kika
Club) who welcomed me very well in the two parties that played in Argentina,
last week. GRACIAS AMIGOS!

Mr Oizos new film RUBBER feats Justice Busy-p

Mr. Oizo is the pseudonym of French music producer and film director Quentin Dupieux who regularly makes pretty cool, weird stuff like headbanging hand puppet Flat Eric who first appeared in Mr. O's electro house banger "Flat Beat" and has since gone on to rival the stovepipe pant as the hippest inanimate object on the indie scene.

His latest project is a feature film called Rubber which, according to Day Night blog is about a rubber serial killer and a tire called Robert who wants to avenge all the other tires who ended up in flames... What the fuck indeed. The soundtrack is supposedly featuring heaps of Mr. Oizo's Ed Banger labelmates including Justice and Busy P. [UPDATE According to a commenter below, Pedro Winter, the soundtrack is mainly Oizo and Gaspard Augé of Justice]
