Started mid 2007, SPA quickly broke through thanx to the demo of Pets Dance which had the gut of an immediate anthem. Supported by London based XFM and Radio 1, then by the Ed Banger crew, SPA signed to Dim Mak mid 2008, and got a few remixes out for Mickey Moonlight (Ed Banger), Pacifc! (EMI) and Neimo (Shangri La) to name but a few.
SPA's debut single Pets Dance is out on Dim Mak early 2009 on vinyl/cd/digital, backed up with remixes from Les Petits Pilous (Boyznoize), Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki (Dim Mak), and exclusive tune Dumbo .
Initially inspired by pets behaviour and feelings, SPA's music is part calm, part joyful, part violent, part dark... such versatility you might expect from an animal making music.
SPA's music is being compared to a psycho-active substance that unleashes the listener's primary instincts, waving pleasure through compulsive moves.
Enjoy one of the best mixes (my opinion here) down below
