The Presets celebrate a year of the Apocalypso
The mighty Trojan horse that is Apocalypso continues to command and conquer, with The Presets 2nd album now having enjoyed an entire year (52 weeks) in the Top 30 status of the ARIA Album Chart.

Adding to this is first single from Apocalypso, the unstoppable My People, has now refused to leave the Top 100 ARIA Singles Chart after a staggering 71 weeks. To celebrate we are offering a special price on My People - grab your copy at GetMusic.

In the sales department, Apocalypso is on the verge of going 3 x platinum, whilst My People is 2 x platinum and Talk Like That is a measly 1 x platinum. In a year that's seen an incredible surge in the bands popularity, The Presets' debut album, Beams, has just now achieved Gold status.

Remix The Presets' Kicking & Screaming
The Presets are also taking part in US magazine FILTER'S first monthly remix series. The Filter Mixed Contest is aimed at DJs, remixers and producers who each month are welcomed to step up to the plate and take a track by a prominent artists completely to pieces, re-assembling it as they see fit. Kicking And Screaming, the opening track from Apocalypso is available from filter-mag.com now. The winning track will be selected by The Presets with lots of love and appreciation to follow.

The Presets last Australian tour 2009
The rocket ride that Apocalypso has been has led The Presets on several sold out tours of Australia, as well as multiple extensive stints in Europe and the US. In May and June this year the curtain will come down on the Apocalypso tours, when The Presets mount their most far-reaching Australian tour so far, and their final tour for 2009.
